Spectorment have a black collar, metal chains around their necks, and glowing red eyes; a drastic shift in appearance from the muted appearances of Sorroul and Depressoul. Furthermore, this Pokémon has substantial adaptations for adaptation - nearly the entire torso is dedicated to a resonance chamber. The wails produced by Spectorment are at a high frequency and volume.

Behavior[]
No longer in tears, Spectorment is known for its sharp keening and tendency to lash out aggressively at anyone that gets too close. They are violent, unpredictable, and loud; Spectorment are thought to be actively seeking to displace anything that lives near them.
Habitat[]
Spectorment are limited in their range by both their need to be near humans and the human want to avoid Spectorment. Because society is so quick to shun this Pokémon, they are forced to hide in condemned buildings or difficult-to-traverse areas near towns. Dense forests are the most notorious habitats for Spectorment, but they may also appear in canyons and beside interstate roads. A Spectorment's territory is called a haunt.
One unusual exception to this rule is a somewhat symbiotic relationship between Spectorment and monasteries; monks that are training to reach a meditative state may rely on Spectorment to help them learn to tune out or accept difficult emotions and memories. Some have reported being able to bond with the Spectorment simply by spending time in its company and accepting the mental anguish it causes.
