Crackrabbit are medium-sized rabbits who lack fur. Instead, their bodies are made of pale, zig-zagging catci. Their ears are long. With all their branching catci arms, their ears partly resemble antlers. Crackrabbit have pale pink flowers and fruits sprouting from their ears, foreheads and tails. Spiky, star-like leaves sprout around their front paws, while their hind legs and chest are a similar colour.
Crackrabbit normally only have thorns growing around their chest, tail, and hind legs. Their whiskers are also sharp. If threatened, Crackrabbit can produce thorns from the rest of their body, transforming into little more than a prickly puffball. These thorns can be shot at high speeds from their bodies.
Gender Differences[]
Cackrabbit have no gender differences.
Behavior[]
Crackrabbit are less willing to flee than Pricklebun. They will attack with kicks from their hind legs and sprays of needle-sharp thorns. This makes Crackrabbit harder to raise.
The fruit that Crackrabbit grows are made into different types of jams and jellies, which are considered a delicacy. Due to the difficulty involved in raising Crackrabbit, unscrupulous humans would capture and knock out Crackrabbit before taking their fruits. Due to complaints of the industry being unethical, the practice mostly fell to the wayside. Some gardeners know how to raise Crackrabbit, and can harvest the fruit without harming themselves or the Pokémon. (Most Crackrabbit owners still take the precaution of wearing rubber gloves and solid goggles before attempting this, anyway.)
Habitat[]
Cackrabbit reside in the desert. They are happy to make their burrows underground, or nest in thickets of cacti. When Crackrabbit live together, they will dig a warren in the sand dunes for all members of their colony to use. Their tunnels can extend beneath the sand for miles.

Pokédex Entry[]
Pokédex entry
Although less skittish than its predecessor, this Pokémon will spray needles by violently shaking its body whenever it feels threatened. This makes it a difficult Pokémon for young trainers to train.
