Boxeroo (Japanese : ケンカルー Kenkaroo ) is a Fighting-type Pokémon.
It evolves into Marsupunch starting at level 16, which evolves into Kankombat starting at level 36.
It is one of the three starter Pokémon the player can receive from Professor Sakura . The other two starters available are Psypole , and Seijitsu .
Boxeroo is Damien's go-to starter, if the player picks either Psypole or Seijitsu , he will take it.

Physiology [ ]
Boxeroo are small joey-esque Pokémon. The fur on their body is pale brown, while their stubby snouts and face are white. Boxeroo have white pouches, which they seldom use to hold anything. Boxeroo have rounded ears and noses; their inner ears are red, much like their noses and gloves. Boxeroo have small tails, which they can bounce on while kicking their opponents. By far and by large, they attack with punches. Boxeroo's arms are short, and they generally keep their paws tucked close to their chest.

Boxeroo have no gender differences.
Behavior [ ]
Boxeroo are very aware of their small stature, and dislike being mistaken for a non-threat. Although they have very cuddly appearances, Boxeroo are more than capable of lashing at a target without warning. While their punches are not strong, per se, they can still take their enemies off guard by this. Beneath their back eyes, Boxeroo have short, triangular scars.
As they rely upon their paws to fight, Boxeroo spend long hours training to harden and desensitize them to pain. They chip away at large trees and tough rocks.
Habitat [ ]
Boxeroo are not native to the Region; however, their physiological traits indicate they are suited for warmer climates. Although Boxeroo are temperamental, they are not asocial. Battling holds great significance to Boxeroo. They are often found in meadows scrapping with other Boxeroo.
