'Armaroma (Japanese : アーマピック Amapic ) is a dual-type Fairy /Ground Pokémon.
It evolves from Shrimpink starting at level 27.
Biology [ ]
Physiology [ ]
Armaroma are bipedal, standing on their stubby hind legs. All four of their paws have a pair of triangular claws. They are not overly sharp, but, like the rest of their armor, are tough. These claws are better suited for digging, and work more like shovels. Around their appendages and undersides, Armaroma have soft fur, which is a lighter pink than the rest of their body. Their fur emanates a saccharine smell, which draws in admirers.
Armaroma's outer shell armor is made of chitin, a durable material. The pieces of their amour are segmented into round pieces, which fall off as Armaroma molt. Smaller Pokémon may take residence underneath the larger pieces of shed armor. The shell pieces are also popular with collectors. This is due to their beauty, durability, and the pleasant smell they seep.
Gender Differences [ ]
Armaroma have no gender differences.
Behavior [ ]
Armaroma are friendly Pokémon who enjoy socializing with other people and Pokémon on the beach. They happily collect sand so that others can build castles or homes for themselves. Wild Armaroma generally will not attack those who unwittingly wandering into their habitat, preferring to share the beach.
What will set Armaroma off, however, is their aversion to water. Even getting splashed a little by the waves is enough to startle an Armaroma. They will either return to the sand, or curl into a protective ball to shield themselves from the danger water presents to them. Armaroma can do this for hours on end, and seldom can be tempted out of hiding.
Habitat [ ]
Armaroma bury themselves in dry, loose sand, preferring to build hollows farther from the water. They will also take residence in crumbling sandcastles left over by humans on the beach.
